Governance Statement
Purpose
This Governance Statement establishes the framework through which Reho Study Tours develops, implements, and maintains its organisational policies. It ensures that all policies are applied consistently, reviewed regularly, and governed under a unified structure that upholds ethical leadership and compliance excellence.
Reho Study Tours is committed to the highest standards of professionalism, transparency, and accountability. Our policies reflect integrity, inclusion, and respect, and are designed to protect the rights, wellbeing, and dignity of everyone who engages with our organisation.
Governance Framework
All Reho Study Tours policies are governed by the Ethics Team, which ensures the ethical, legal, and operational compliance of the organisation. Acting on behalf of senior leadership, the Ethics Team maintains alignment with relevant legislation, international frameworks, and recognised best practice.
The Ethics Team’s responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and communicating organisational policies;
- Ensuring compliance with Australian law, including the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and relevant DFAT standards;
- Reviewing and updating policies as required by legislative, operational, or contextual change;
- Overseeing reporting mechanisms, investigations, and responses to policy breaches or ethical concerns;
- Embedding a culture of ethical leadership, justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) across all programs and partnerships;
- Promoting continuous improvement through accountability, consultation, and learning.
Policy Suite
This Governance Statement applies to all official policies of Reho Study Tours, including but not limited to:
- Booking Terms and Conditions
- Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Code of Conduct
- Privacy Policy
- Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) Policy

Review and Oversight
All policies are reviewed annually - or earlier where legislative, operational, or environmental changes occur - by the Ethics Team. Revisions are approved by senior leadership before publication. Updated versions are made available on the Reho Study Tours website and communicated to relevant partners and participants.
The Ethics Team also provides oversight for reporting, complaints, and investigations under all policies to ensure fairness, confidentiality, and adherence to due process.
