Dili
Arrive in Timor-Leste’s capital and settle into your accommodation while becoming familiar with the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Orientation activities introduce the history, culture, and development journey of the nation. In the evening, gather with fellow participants and local hosts for a welcome dinner featuring traditional Timorese cuisine. Conversation introduces the theme of community resilience and sustainable development.
Day 2
Dili
Begin the morning with a cultural briefing that introduces Tetum language basics and local customs. Interactive activities encourage respectful engagement with communities throughout the program. In the afternoon, meet local educators and development practitioners who discuss Timor-Leste’s journey since independence. Dili

Dili → Maubisse

Day 8 to Day 9
Atauro Island
Work with local conservation teams to explore coral reef restoration and marine education projects.
